Thanks Chris. I agree, it seems that we have a system where only those who are able to make a lot of money are valued and I’m not sure if it’s always about intelligence or ability.
The ‘old school tie’ still seems to pervade our social hierarchy. I wonder whether things will ever change as movements towards social equality never seem to last.
Indeed. The politics of self-gratification. One day perhaps we will develop a system of meritocracy. Oh, sorry, clearly I was dreaming!
